Ready, Set, Run!

"Ready, Set, Run!" was a podcasting project conceived as a "show within a show", putting listeners and guests into the shoes of creative heads of a fictionalized Speedrun Studios. Each episode, new guests improvise creative solutions to absurd budget-cuts, like "create a one-act play that must be performed inside of a public restroom", "Create the worst low-budget haunted house", or "AI generated prop/set/costume piece" challenges. These fast-paced and laugh-heavy improved segments were spliced with real interviews diving into the actual creative history of the guest and their talents as artists and makers. Here, nothing sparks creativity quite like a budget, a deadline, and a whole lot of yelling.

After a long hiatus, "Ready, Set, Run!" is currently being reformatted for new platforms such as the Speedrun TikTok, and should see a return in 2024. You can stream the first 3 chaotic episodes at the link below.
