 Ten explorers. Four boats. One Grand Canyon. MEN ON BOATS is the true(ish) history of an 1869 expedition, when a one-armed captain and a crew of insane yet loyal volunteers set out to chart the course of the Colorado River. Played entirely by a young, diverse cast of women, trans, and non-binary performers, MEN ON BOATS expertly satirizes male dominated society of the 1800s - and today.

Returning for her second season with Speedrun Studios, "The When and How" is Speedrun's 2nd premiering original work from young playwright Anya Nagle. Over the course of a single act, the script follows a young couple with the supernatural powers to know exactly when, and exactly how, someone will die. Tensions rise, love and friendship are thrown into question, and not everybody will be making it out alive as the timer ticks down on a very important death-day.

 This witty 18+ musical from Team Starkid parodies both Aladdin and Wicked - retelling the classic Disney musical, from the villain's point of view. Long ago in a Magic Kingdom, one misunderstood Royal Vizier will go on a quest to save his city from its bumbling sultan, an invading prince, and the most notorious thief to ever live. With the help of the Kingdom's free-spirited, teenage Princess, the Vizier must find a magical lamp containing a wish-granting Djinn and defeat the city's most-wanted criminal... Aladdin This musical adventure celebrates and lovingly pokes fun at everyone's favorite series of hand-drawn, animated films. 

In this expansion on the classic horror novel, an exhausted and dying Victor Frankenstein has finally tracked down his Creature in the lonely, frozen tundra of the North Pole. Determined to right the wrong he has committed by, at last, destroying the malignant evil he believes he has created, Frankenstein finds that he must first deal with his own responsibility and guilt – culminating in the Creature’s agonizing question, “Why did you make me?”

We will end our year with a musical revue concert event featuring members of our company! Details TBD
