Tyler Ortega is a recent graduate from Concordia University Texas and has been doing theatre for well over 10 years. He has been a part of many shows including The Addams Family, The Odyssey at the Vortex Theatre in Austin, The Spitfire Grill and others. This is his first production with Speedrun Studios and is excited to continue working with them in the future.
Ashley Decherd is a current Junior at The University of Texas at Austin, studying Human Resources. Some of her recent works include her role as Sandra in The Play That Goes Wrong, as well as Director for University Theatre Guild’s production of The Lightning Thief. She’s excited to once again be a part of this musical, albeit on the performer’s end this time!
Ashton Miller is a recent high school graduate who will be attending Texas State University. He has been part of multiple shows such as Imaginary Invalid, Grease and Little Shop of Horrors. This is his first time working with Speedrun Studios and he couldn't be more excited to be part of such a fun cast and crew.
Ricky Pratchett is very excited to make his debut at Speedrun Studios! He recently graduated from The University of Texas Austin with a degree in Theater and Dance. Some of his past favorite shows include: The Arsonists, The Addams Family, Firebringer, Measure for Measure and The Hunchback of Notre Dame. Ricky would like to thank his friends and family for the overwhelming support!
Abby Olsen is new to the Austin theater scene, having just moved here from Ann Arbor, Michigan! She is stoked to be part of this awesome & funny show at Speedrun Studios. She loves shows with lots of comedy- her previous favorites to be a part of were Legally Blonde (twice!) and Something Rotten!
Preston Galban is a recent graduate from Concordia University Texas, where he studied and performed in a wide array of shows under Dr. Kelly Carolyn Gordon. He is comfortable playing both comedic roles such as Tartuffe in Tartuffe and dramatic roles such as Rev. Clay Nash in 14, and has enjoyed picking up new skills from sword fighting to full-body puppetry along the way. Preston first worked with Speedrun Studios on the pilot episode of their Podcast Drama series "Impending Pasts," and is more than happy to be joining forces with such a lovely cast and crew to bring something special to the audience.
Samantha Gade is a rising senior musical theatre major at Hardin-Simmons University and she is so thrilled to be working with Speedrun Studios once more! She was previously seen in Speedrun’s production of The Trail To Oregon! (Wagon Mother), as well as productions of The Spitfire Grill (Hannah), Silent Sky (Williamina), and Into The Woods (Little Red). Her favorite blue food is blue raspberry jolly ranchers!
JoDei Pasasadaba is a graduate from the University of Texas at Austin and has recently begun her foray into acting. Her experience with musicals actually lie under the stage— playing the viola for productions of Cinderella, Les Miserables, and West Side Story. This is her first ever production on the other side of the stage, and she is incredibly happy to be a part of a fun and energizing team!
Austin Civatte is a performing artist, theatre maker, and a committed member of the ATX theatre community from a young age. As the founder of Speedrun Studios, he has directed and performed in "The Trail To Oregon", hosts and produces "Ready, Set, Run!" and "Impending Pasts", directed for "Gillian and Harvey", and is beyond excited to continue his directing journey with this fantastic show, alongside this incredible team.
Lilly Percifield is an actor, designer, director, and theatre maker. This is her first time working with Speedrun Studios and her professional directing debut! Lilly is a VORTEX company member and graduated from Southwestern University with a BA in Theatre and English last year. When she’s not making theatre, Lilly loves playing TTRPGs on her podcast, Gals & Goblins!
Dominique is currently pursuing a BM in Choral Music Studies at UT Austin. She has done vocal direction for musicals, choirs, she teaches private voice lessons, and she also loves to perform. She would like to thank the cast and production team for all of their hard work and positive energy!
Clint is excited to be joining this exciting production! A graduate of East Carolina University, he has choreographed violence for several shows, including Peter Pan, The Chronicles of Narnia, and Treasure Island, as well as appearing as Frank the Artist in the premiere episode of Impending Pasts Podcast with Speedrun. He would like to thank the Speedrun team for welcoming him in and Professor Jill and Haskell for setting him on the path.
Zachary’s most recent work was choreographing Evil Dead and The Lightning Thief under the University Theatre Guild at UT. Zachary is currently a junior at the University of Texas at Austin pursuing a degree in psychology. He has previously performed for Viva! El Paso as a featured dancer and choreographer. He is ecstatic to be a part of this production!
Desmond is a non-binary theatre designer, dancer, and choreographer. Desmond currently teaches theatre technology and design at Concordia University Texas. For their M.F.A. thesis performance, Desmond designed and performed a twenty-minute solo dance while controlling the lights from the stage.
Erin is a rising senior at Westlake High School, and interested in pursuing lighting design as a career. This is her first job outside of a church or school production and she couldn’t be more excited to work with all these wonderful and supportive people!
Arc has over four years of audio/visual experience working at various concert venues around ATX. He began training at his previous position for running soundboards and projector systems during corporate meetings, as well as running lighting and soundmixing for live music shows. He has also worked as crew lead for multiple live events over the past year involving setting up stage decks, A/V systems, and LED screen walls.
Noah is currently pursuing his degree in costume technology and make-up artistry from Austin Community College, inspired by his recent experience working on set for AMC’s Fear the Walking Dead and Amazon Prime’s Panic. He’s beyond excited for his first production with Speedrun Studios and to make a return to live theatre! His favorite shows to work on have been Beauty and the Beast, Romeo and Juliet, and Men on Boats.”
Maryam Zafar is a student of the University of Texas at Austin and Austin Community College. She has previously been involved with McNeil High School’s Zombie Prom and Mamma Mia as part of the ensemble, and is excited to show off her skills behind the curtain.
Indy Ward is a current junior at Ithaca College, with a double major in Stage Management and Theater Production and Design with a focus in Carpentry. They are currently working as the Archivist for Camp Half-Blood Austin and the Deck Stage Manager on Newsies at Ithaca College
Alec is a current Sophomore at Angelo State University as a Theatre Design & Technology Major. His recent works have been as a Props Designer in Men on Boats, and Pearl, and is also apart of the Camp Half-Blood Austin staff!
